As a body and collision repair facility, the technician’s skill level is critical. A repair facility can have all of the superior and sophisticated equipment in the industry but without a skilled technician they serve little purpose. Fortunately, we have found technicians who are highly skilled and competent. We make sure that they feel at home with us and provide them with all they need to be successful. Through our efforts, they have stayed with us and developed their skills to become our head technicians. The following are some of our efforts to keep our technicians’ skill level at their peak:

• Certification and training for equipment by their respective manufactures.
• Skill-Level testing by the Automotive Service Excellence organization known as A.S.E.
• Training courses from I-CAR to update techniques and learn new ones.
• Factory training from companies such as BMW.

1. Equipment Manufacturer certification. As we provide our technicians with superior and sophisticated equipment, it is necessary for our employees to gain certification to use them.
   • Globaljig Frame Machines: This machine is extremely complicated. It requires an expert technician that is knowledgeable and experienced. Therefore, Globaljig offers certification courses to ensure proper knowledge and usage of the machine.
   
    
2. A.S.E. is an organization that provides testing of the technician's skill level. This testing service demonstrates what level a technician is at in a variety of skills. Based on these test scores, we can ascertain which areas need improvement. Consequently, we send our technicians to schools that will enhance their skill level in whatever area they need. An example of some of the skill level testing this organization offers is as follows:
   • Structural Analysis & Damage Repair.
   • Non-structural Analysis & Damage Repair
   
    
3. I-CAR is an organization that offers a variety of areas and levels of training. They provide training to develop new recruits. It also provides training courses for veteran technicians who wish to enhance and improve their skill level in a variety of areas of expertise. An example of some of the training courses offered are as follows:
   • Structural & Non-structural damage.
   • Welding
   • Plastic & bumper repairs
   
    
4. FACTORY TRAINING: Many automobile manufacturers provide training courses for outside repair facilities that they endorse. BMW is one of those companies. The courses that are usually offered are as follows:
   • Tips on how to repair new models such as the BMW X5.
